I love to write. This is especially true when I find what I am writing interesting. Unfortunately, a lot of what I get paid to write is not interesting to me at all. In fact, it can become quite tedious. Sometimes I feel like quitting and getting a "real" job. The fact is, these types of assignments actually help me to grow as a writer much more than when I write something that I like. The reason for this is that I have to take my time, proof read more and I also need to do much more research. I find that it helps me to get creative.
If you think that you would like to grow as a writer and also get paid, I suggest to read my blog post http://robynwalker.blogspot.com/2011/04/how-to-make-money-writing.html. This will explain how I make money weekly. If you are an Native English speaker and writer then this blog is perfect for you.
Another way that I like to make money in between assignments is through a site that I discuss in this post http://robynwalker.blogspot.com/2011/04/great-site-to-make-money-writing.html. This is actually a fun company to write for because you will be writing reviews on anything you want. If you like something, you don't like something, write about it! Its fun.
I have to say that after a few years of writing for online companies, I have narrowed down the best companies to work for. Demand Studios, Triond and Helium are also great to write for. It will get you published online and this will definitely help your resume. If you know of any great companies to write for please let me know by commenting to this post. Thanks!

Good tips, posts, blog! I couldn't refrain from posting a tip of mine too, it is connected with writing: Using sites like zazzle.com, cafepress. com, fiverr? They could be a good way to promote your works and to help "remove" stupidity in the streets like headlines on t-shirts, fridge-magnets, cups, etc: My Boyfriend kisses Better Than Yours, FBI - female body inspector, etc. Not everything we see and think of should be about sex, right? It would be much better if there were more nice pictures of mythical creatures, good thoughts, poems from fantasy genre, etc? I'm allanbard there, I use some of my illustrations, thoughts, poems from my books (like: One can fight money only with money, Even in the hotest fire there's a bit of water, All the problems in the world lead to one - narrow-minded people, or
Let's watch the moon, let's meet the sun!
Let's hear soon the way the Deed was done!
Let's listen to the music the shiny crystals played,
let's welcome crowds of creatures good and great... etc). I guess such stuff is much better than the usual we see everyday in the streets? Best wishes! Let the wonderful noise of the sea always sounds in your ears! (a greeting of the water dragons'hunters - my Tale Of The Rock Pieces).
