Return of the Hatbox Ghost?
Wouldn't it be great if the Haunted Mansion Disneyland California brought back the Hatbox Ghost? Not sure if this is fiscally feasible but Al Lutz has annouced that Tony Baxter is working on this project back in May. He also mentioned that it will be awhile since the budget for this has been used elsewhere. For all hardcore Haunted Mansion fans out there bringing HG back would be epic. Daniel Radcliffe Says No to New Book!
It may seem like Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter movies, would love for new HP books to be written to ensure his job security but he is saying no. He has recently been reported texting the book's author J.K. Rowling and asking if the rumor was true if she is indeed writing another book.
The sad news is, she wrote him back and she said no more books will be written about Harry. So sorry HP fans, the answer is no. Apparently Radcliffe is content with her answer and plans to move on to the next phase of his career.

Epilepsy; We Need a Cure
Epilepsy is a terrible disease. I never knew how horrible it was until my son was diagnosed with it at age 4. With so few pediatric neurologists in our area we did not have many to choose from. His first neurologist not only did not help him but she made us feel as though he it was are fault and my son's fault. He was having two seizures every minute at times. His life was put on hold. So was ours.
We fought a long battle and because of my husbands endless insistence he now is being treated at Loma Linda Hospital and getting great care. Unfortunately, the great neurologist that he has been seeing there has moved out of state so we are back to searching for a replacement.
While my son is not cured, he is now on medication that is somewhat controlling the seizures. The worst part is dealing the affects that the seizures have had on his frontal lobe. He has severe behavioral problems and lost most of his fine and gross motor skills. Being in kindergarten, this has made his life very difficult.
Epilepsy affects more people in America then cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's put together. Every day about 500 people are newly diagnosed. Severe cases can lead to brain damage and learning delays. People with epilepsy are more depressed than others and have a two thirds higher death rate. These facts are not only alarming, they are calling out for more research and also for a cure.
Research for epilepsy is very under funded. Much more federal money is spent researching other diseases that have fewer people affected by then. I say it is time put things in perspective. We need more neurologists, more funding and more research. We need a cure.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 New Teaser trailer
Wednesday is sure to be an exciting day for all serious Harry Potter fans. The new teaser trailer for the next movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will air during Happy Gilmore between 7 and 9pm ET. Fans can expect a scene featuring all our favorite characters, including Harry, Hermione and Ron. It should also include the escape scene from Gringotts Bank and the soon to be famous scene with Mrs. Weasley and Bellatrix Lestrange.

Inner Writer Overcome By Circumstances is Now Transcending
While this title may not make sense it speaks volumes about this last year. I have been doing freelance work as a ghost writer that did not allow me to become published and it gave someone else the credit. I cannot say that it has not been worth it because I have been making money but my inner writer is screaming.
I do not want the recognition for my writing for fame or notoriety but mainly so I feel validated. It is nice to see my writing published. It is also nice for others to read it once and awhile.
I am still going to do more freelance ghost writer so I can make money for my family and also so I can hopefully get the experience I need before I sit down and write my first novel. I plan on starting that project in August. In the meantime, I will do what I have to but I will also take a few moments during each day to update my blog and some social writing sites to keep up my resume.
Until I become a successful fiction writer I will be learning from current and past circumstances. I also hope you will follow me in this journey...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on DVD and Blueray April 15th
Every Harry Potter fan has been a waiting for Deathly Hallows Part 1 to come out on DVD. With Voldemort's powers getting stronger he now has taken over the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts. Harry, Hermione and Ron have set out on a quest to stop him. It is a true race against the worst evil the wizarding world has ever known. The only hope they have rests in the finding the remaining Horcruxes and using Dumbledore's clues that he has left behind. Look for this movie on Friday April 15th.
