King of Pop Dies at His Holmby Hills Home

I will always remember where I was today- just a few hours ago. I will always remember what I was doing when I found out that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died in his Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles, California. I think we all will remember this day. No matter how you felt about him, he was a part of all of our lives. Even Hollywood has been hugely affected. MC Hammer writes on Twitter, " I have no words.. I loved Michael Jackson.. RIP.."
His death has touched millions and he will be missed by so many loving fans. His comeback that was planned consisted of shows scheduled in July in Britain. He has spent years battling allegations of wrongdoings in his personal life. These were never proven in court. This is a tragic day for the many loyal fans who now mourn his death and the death of the "King of Pop."
As a child, I remember trying to learn the moves to his song "thriller" and attempting the "moon walk." Micheal Jackson played a big part in my childhood as the King of Pop. Not only did his songs impact me but all the rumors surrounding him for years. From the many rumors of how his skin lightened so quickly to rumors of his sexual identity, it was hard to sort out the rumors from the truth. He consistently denied having any plastic surgery except for a nose job when clearly he had many more surgeries done. The real blow was were the allegations of molesting children and sleeping in the same bed with them.
He was considered bazarre by most who knew of him. His death leaves many unanswered questions. Who was this strange man? His music was legendary, though. He made quite an impact on my generation. I can imagine that as people are just waking up in other parts of the world, there will be heartbroken fans. He was more popular in other countries than in his own. That is the real tragedy.

It is officially 15 days until the premier of Harry Potter Half Blood Prince. I am all ready with my Imax tickets for me and my son. I can't wait. I need some news, I need some HP news to tide me over. Maybe you do, too.
Did you know...Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) was voted as one the the"31 most hateful movie/TV children" by EW.com. This is interesting. Also, on July 9th the movie's premier will be at Ziegfelf Theatre, 141 West 54th Street, New York, NY. The stars will arrive at 6pm and the private screening will be at 7pm. What actors will be there? Dan Radclffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Bonnie Wright, Ton Felton, David Yates, David Heyman, David Barron, and others. Wish I could be in New York on the 9th...

July 15th Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
So I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I will be attending the midnight showing in Imax. Yes, I will be in costume. I am a huge dork, I admit it. That doesn't take away from the fact that this movie will be the greatest Harry Potter so far and it will be so amazing even people who are not HP fans will love it. How do I know this? I have done a lot of research and it has led me to the conclusion that the new Harry Potter will break all first weekend box office records.

Ed McMahon died!!
June 23, 3009 Ed McMahan died. He was the announcer on the Tonight Show for Johnny Carson for 30 years, host of the popular television show Star Search, spokesperson for America Family Publishers, among many others. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and he was a fighter pilot in World War II. He was a hero. He did much charity work, including the annual telethon "Jerry's Kids." He was also married with 6 children. It is with great honor that I write about such a great man's life. I grew up watching Ed McMahan on Star Search. He will always be a hero to me...

Why Harry Potter Still Rocks!
I am reading on the internet how some crazy people believe that Harry Potter has lost his magic. This is ridiculous! Some feel that Twilight took some of the fans away from Harry Potter and now Twilight is the new fad. Now I love Twilight as much as the next girl but I will always be a true, loyal HP fan.
While it is true that the new HP movie was moved a whole 8 months forward because of the competition of Twilight, HP has gained new fans with the publicity. No true fan is boycotting Warner Bros for this move. Seriously, the fans that love HP are even more excited now.
So, to all those writers out there who love to tear down Harry Potter, I say you should give it up. When Half Blood Prince comes out I know it will blow Twilight away.
